STOCKS: The aforementioned risk factors have also been the drivers for equity
trade during the first Asia-Pac session of the week, after continued worry re:
the Chinese Coronavirus dominated weekend news flow. Particular focus has fallen
on the SGX's FTSE China A50 index futures, which currently sit ~5% lower than
Friday's settlement levels.
- Widespread holiday closures limited liquidity across the region, but the major
indices that were open for trade managed to recover from intraday lows.
- Nikkei 225 -1.8%.
- S&P 500 futures -30, DJIA futures -243, NASDAQ 100 futures -112.
