SOUTH KOREA: The BoK noted that the sluggishness in the domestic economy has
"eased somewhat," perhaps taking some solace from some of the green shoots that
have been sprouting, choosing to point to a hope for gradual improvement in
consumption, exports and investment. Elsewhere, the BoK noted that economic
growth is exp. to be in line with the Bank's Nov projections.
- The Bank noted that it will maintain its accommodative stance and will judge
whether it needs to adjust the degree of policy accommodation.
- Household debt, foreign monpol & tensions abroad were cited as areas of
concern.
