KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia at $0.7131 toward the upper side of
yesterday's $0.7076 to $0.7146 range, where stale shorts hit the exit door as
local political uncertainty continues to drag on, giving kiwi a much needed
lift. Just ahead, NZ Manufacturing PMI for September (2130GMT), the prior
reading was 57.0. Initial resistance lies at $0.7168 (Oct5 high), a break opens
$0.7197 (38.2% fib $0.7433-$0.7051 decline), while support is seen just ahead of
$0.7100.
