AUSSIE BONDS: The minutes from the RBA's latest MonPol decision kept the door
open re: further easing, with a seemingly lower bar re: further loosening & a
broader scope of focus (with the latter being identified via nuanced shifts in
language at the time of the decision), although the space largely looked through
the release.
- It looks like the aforementioned PBoC MLF activities were the driving factor
that pushed the space to session highs, but the bid has now faded a touch.
- YM +4.5, XM +5.5. YM/XM at 29.0, with the cash equivalent at 26.0bp.
- Bills sit unchanged to 2 ticks higher through the reds.
- A$1.2bn worth of ACGB 1.50% 21 June 2031 supply headlines the local docket
tomorrow, ahead of Thursday's labour market report.
