CABLE
CABLE: The Pound has got off to a solid start against the greenback, the pair
rising from $1.3066 to a top so far of $1.3123. Sources have put the move down
to senior Conservative party figures publically backing PM May following calls
on Friday from former Conservative Party chairman Grant Shapps for her to stand
down. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has urged colleagues to "get behind" the
PM because "people are fed up with this malarkey". In a WhatsApp message he
urged Tories "talk about nothing except policies". Scottish Conservative party
leader Ruth Davidson told PM's critics should "put up, shut up and get off the
stage" and added that the calls for her to resign were not led by anyone
"serious". Resistance is located at $1.3134 (50-hma), a break opens $1.3176
(23.6% $1.3659-$1.3027). Cable was last at $1.3102.
