The Richmond, Atlanta, and Dallas districts.....>

FED
FED: The Richmond, Atlanta, and Dallas districts reported major
disruptions from hurricanes in sectors esp transpo, energy, and ag, the
Beige Book said Wed. But most businesses don't expect significant
long-term impact. All 12 districts saw their economies expanding at a
modest to moderate pace. Retail spending rose slowly, with vehicle sales
up in most districts. Labor markets remained tight, but most districts
reported only modest to moderate wage pressures. However, some districts
reported stronger wage pressure in sectors such as transportation and
construction. Price pressures remained modest; while several districts
reported increased manufacturing input costs, there was little pass
through. See Main Wire Story.
