GOLD: The yellow metal isn't making much noise on the Asia-Pac session as
markets anticipate U.S Payrolls data out on the overnight, Gold levels currently
at $1268.51 up $0.29 after yesterday peaking around $10 higher before the NY
open when lower-than-expected 260K initial weekly jobless claims & firm 1.2%
Aug. factory new orders triggered a sell off, gold moved alongside other
retreating safe havens, Tsys also hurt amid SF Fed Williams' caution that US
real estate and bond prices near all-time highs amid low US rates; Phili. Fed
Harker: US is at "maximum employment" (BBG)
- There is another storm headed towards the U.S. Gulf Coast, already having
killed 22 people as it moved across Central America. Storm Nate has been
developing since Thursday and is predicted to hit the U.S. Gulf Coast this
weekend.
- MNI technical levels see support at $1265.3 - High Aug 8 now support and
resistance at $1282.3 - High Oct 4.
