TotalEnergies’ Fuel Depot To Halt Shipping Amid Strike

No refined oil products will be shipped from the TotalEnergies' fuel depot close to Dunkirk during the French national strike on Thursday, a representative from the CGT trade union told Reuters.

  • The 24-hour strike is planned for Jan 19 and will impact both Exxon Mobil and TotalEnergies refineries and the fuel depot.
  • French Transport Minister Clement Beaune has tried to ease concerns around fuel shortage ahead of the strikes at French refineries on Thursday, as there are stocks of petrol.
  • Exxon Mobil operates two refineries in France - Port Jerome-Gravenchon in the north and Fos-sur-Mer in the south.
