Transneft is awaiting more clarity on the supplies of Kazakh oil via the Druzbha oil pipelines to Germany, which were initially planned to be delivered in the first half of February according to Interfax.
- "The matter is still unspecific, so I would prefer not to comment," Transneft president Nikolai Tokarev said.
- Kazakhstan was scheduled to send the first batch of 20,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany in the first half of February.
- Sources last week suggested that flows will begin in March, after commercial an legal terms have been agreed with all parties.
- Kazakhstan said that it is "technically possible" to transport 300,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany in February 2023, but "the actual volumes of oil shipments depend on freight shippers' bids."
