US TSY/RECAP: Treasuries moved markedly lower on Tuesday with the new lows in
prices seen across the board despite a slight recovery at the close. 10-year
yields closed firmly above 3.0% despite retail sales falling in line with
consensus, showing the continued fundamental upside pressure across the yield
curve. 10-year yield now back to 2011 levels. 
- Yield curve steepened with the exception of the 10s30s which hit a new low of
12.66bps. 2s10s rose to near 3-week highs at 49.58bps.
- Breakevens stayed within recent range causing 10-year linkers to hit new highs
at 0.8931%. 5-year linkers, at 0.7466%, are back at 2009 levels showing
increasingly tight Fed policy.
