Tsy Yields & USD Fade From Post-Data Extremes

CROSS ASSET

Little to really flag outside of U.S. yield driven movements, as 30s once again fail to establish themselves meaningfully above 5%, despite another foray through the round number (topping out around 5.05%).

  • The recovery from cheaps in Tsys allows EGBs and gilts to find a bit of a base.
  • Meanwhile e-minis operate a little above worst levels of the session, (-0.6% to -0.8%), with the NASDAQ 100 still leading the weakness owing to yield sensitivity and pressure resuming around the time of typing.
  • The USD sits a little shy of best levels of the session.
  • Precious metals and crude oil have also recovered from initial post-data lows.
