US TSYS
US TSYS: Tsys edged away from session highs, as Japanese & Chinese equities
recovered from worst levels (but the indices still trade sharply lower on the
day), while yields have edged slightly higher in the main.
- Early trade drew murmurings of Asia-Pac real money demand in longer dated
paper for a second consecutive session.
- It has been a relatively limited session for futures, following on from
Wednesday's active, risk off showing, with T-Notes sticking to a 4+ tick range
thus far.
- Notable Tsy option flow has focused on the downside, via 50.0K (in total) of
the TYZ8 117.50/116.50 put spread being blocked at 0.07, with sources pointing
to a buyer of the structure.
- Eurodollar futures activity was elevated at the start of the session, with a
notable buy programme identified early on. The strip last deals unchanged to 3.0
ticks higher.
- Thursday brings durables goods data, along with Fedspeak from Clarida.
- T-Notes last 118.23+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last at 3.107%.
