BOND SUMMARY

T-Notes last trade +0-01 at 132-02, holding a tight range in early Asia-Pac trade as the contract consolidates losses registered after the release of FOMC minutes. Cash Tsy yields sit marginally higher across the curve, while Eurodollar futures trade -0.5 to +0.5 tick through the reds.

  • JGB futures have had a tight start to the session and last trade at 151.38, 6 ticks shy of Wednesday's settlement. Cash JGB yields are broadly lower as we type. Japanese trade surplus shrank less than forecast in Apr, while both exports and imports jumped more than expected. Core machine orders fell less than projected on an annual basis, but monthly growth missed estimates.
  • In Australia, YM trades -0.5, with XM -1.5 at typing. Cash ACGB yields trade a touch higher across the curve, with 10s underperforming. Bills last seen unch. to -2 ticks through the reds. Australian labour market report headlines the regional docket today.
