nuclear deal (reportedly at 1400ET). Otherwise quiet on data, $31B Tsy 3Y
auction.
- US$ index topped 93.0 first time since late December (DXY 93.130H) weighing on
Tsys, US$/Yen 108.989; equities weaker (emini -6.5, 2663.5); gold weaker (XAU
-3.38, 1310.75); West Texas crude weaker (WTI -0.67, 70.06) after tapping 70.80
Mon as mid-East tensions heat up, pared gains late: crude didn't like the Trump
annc on Iran deal (1400ET Tuesday): WTI now +.01 at 69.73.
- Asia and London trade, quiet sideways trade, Europe returns from extended
spring holiday's, watching surge in US$, UK exit and Italian elections. Little
insight from US Fed Chair Powell in Zurich, promising more communications/less
mkt disruptions.
- Swaps, spds tighter ahead supply, Eurodollar futures, short end gained on
lower 3M LIBOR set -0.0165 to 2.3525% (+0.0110 last wk)
- Tsy ylds: 2Y 2.497%, 3Y 2.631%, 5Y 2.787%, 7Y 2.900%, 10Y 2.950%, 30Y 3.120%
