TTF Falls As Warm Weather Reduces Heating Demand

TTF extends the decline as weather forecast still show no sign of significant cold temperatures in the coming two weeks in NW Europe. Unseasonably mild temperatures are expected for the coming 10 days before temperatures drift slightly lower but remain above normal until the end of the forecast period.

    • TTF DEC 22 down -7.3% at 106.44€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 down -3.6% at 118.5€/MWh
  • Norwegian supplies to Europe are today slightly down on last week at 312.9mcm/d while gas transit via Ukraine is stable at 42.4mcm/d.
  • European storage remains at high levels of 95.17% due to the delayed winter heating season and with healthy LNG flows into Europe averaging 380mcm/d last week.
