TTF Heading for Small Weekly Gain on Higher Demand

TTF is holding onto small gains on concern for cooler weather into next week and the possibility that below normal temperatures could extend into the middle of the month.

  • Competition for LNG supplies from Asia is adding to upside risk with low cargo prices attracting the interest of energy companies in Asian markets including Thailand, India and Bangladesh.
  • Front month has gained 2.8€/MWH from a low today and is heading for a small weekly gain of nearly 5.5%.
    • TTF MAR 23 up 2% at 58.2€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 up 1.8% at 60.48€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 up 0.7% at 67.97€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 up 0.5% at 62.5€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 24 up 1.4% at 64.5€/MWh
