TTF Lower as EU Gas Storage Unchanged Since 20 Dec

Above normal temperatures in Europe during the latter part of December have eased the pressure on EU gas storage levels.

  • Since 20 Dec total European gas storage levels have remained largely unchanged with the higher temperatures reducing heating demand. The rate of storage withdrawals in the first half of December was above normal at 0.56% per day compared to the five year average of 0.47% per day.
  • The countries with the largest gas in store volumes are Germany at 218.13TWh (88.62% full), Italy at 160.84TWh (83.15%), France at 112.2TWh (83.98%) and Netherlands at 107.56Wh (77.42%).

    • TTF SUM 23 down -1.4% at 84.31€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -1.3% at 86.5€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -2.7% at 75.5€/MWh
