TTF Removes Some Earlier Losses On Norwegian Outages

TTF gas prices have removed some of the earlier losses, following gas outage extensions in Norway.

  • Prices retreated earlier in the day following yesterday’s spike driven by Equinor shutting its Hammerfest LNG plant to fix a leak.
  • Hammerfest LNG will remain fully shut until 8 June. The planned maintenance at Kollsnes, reducing output by 35mcm/d, has been extended by two days until 9 June. The halt at Oseberg, affecting 22.5mcm/d, has also been extended until 11 June, Gassco remit data showed.
  • Latest weather forecasts for northwest Europe have been revised up and temperatures are forecast well above the seasonal norm for the next 14 days.
  • TTF JUL 23 down -9.5% at 24.31€/MWh
