Turkey Faces Delay Of Black Sea Gas Production Start Up

The commissioning of Turkey’s Back Sea gas production faces some delays, Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez said.

  • The total volume of natural gas Turkey has discovered in the Black Sea amounts to 710bcm after a new field was located and a previous find was revised higher, President Tayyip Erdogan said last year.
  • The minister also said works for Turkey’s planned natural gas trade centre continue and the goal is to be fully operational within a year.
