US 10YR FUTURE TECHS: (U9) Retreats further from Monday high
*RES 3: 133-04+ High Jul 29 2016
*RES 2: 131-23+ High Sep 30 2016
*RES 1: 131-19+ Weekly High
*PRICE: 130-30+ @ 16:51 BST, Aug 29
*SUP 1: 129-12 Low Aug 8
*SUP 2: 128-14+ Low Aug 2
*SUP 3: 128-23 50-dma
Despite inching above the Monday open in both Wednesday and Thursday's session,
markets appear more comfortable closer to the 131-00 handle and dipped below the
mark ahead of the close. Impetus to shift the technical outlook either
positively or negatively looks absent at present, with RSI measures suggesting
the most likely path from here is sideways. Over the medium-term, bulls remain
on the front foot, with targets at 131-23+ and even the 2016 highs at 134-07+ a
realistic prospect. Support lies at the 130-00 handle initially ahead of the
50-dma at 128-23.
