Unemployment Rate Declines Again

SOUTH KOREA

South Korean unemployment rate drops to 3.7% in April against expectations of 3.9% and 3.9% last time out. The lower unemployment rate was augured by consumer confidence and business survey's which have risen recently. Earlier this week President Moon said growth of over 4% was achievable and touted the labour market as a key component in the recovery. KRW 1-month NDF's last up 1.27 at 1119.96, unchanged after the data, having reclaimed the opening gap lower from Monday.
