US crude production climbs to the highest since April 2020 at 12.4mbpd. Production had held within the 12.2mbpd to 12.3mbod range since the start of the year.
- The increase comes as the number of targeted oil rigs continues to fall. The Baker Hughes oil rig count has dropped to the lowest since April 2022 and down 11% since the start of the year.
