US Gas Steady with Strong Demand and High Production

US Natgas hovering below previous close as temperatures remain mixed across the country

  • US Natgas SEP 22 down -1.7% at 8.62$/mmbtu
  • Above normal temperatures are expected for West and North East in the 8-14 day NOAA forecast. US domestic demand is today estimated at 71.6bcf which is down from last week but still just above the 5-year normal.
  • Dry gas production remains high at 97.76bcf/d while exports are steady with supply to Mexico at 6.7bcf/d and deliveries to LNG export terminals at 11.15bcf/d.
