US Gasoline Pump Prices Down on the Week: GasBuddy

US average pump prices for gasoline are down 1.5 cents/gal on the day, as prices soften during the week, according to GasBuddy.

  • Prices are also down 2.7 cents/gal compared to the average for the previous week, although are up 0.7 cents/gal compared to August’s average.
  • The largest increase in the week came from California, up 27 cents/gal, to $5.993/gal Sep. 28. California continues to be the state with the most expensive gasoline.
  • Meanwhile the largest fall on the week came from Delaware, where pump prices fell by 16.8 cents/gal to $5.148/gal Sep. 28.
