US Supreme Court On Border Restrictions, Unemployment Data

  • USDMXN has given up the majority of Tuesday’s advance with 19.50 capping the topside in early trade on Wednesday. Most recent lows around 19.3350 remain the short-term support to watch out for. Unemployment likely fell to 3.2% in November, down slightly from 3.3% the prior month, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Data is scheduled for 1200GMT/0700ET.
  • The US Supreme Court ordered pandemic-era border restrictions to remain in effect, granting a request by Republican state officials who said lifting the rules would have produced an unmanageable surge of migrants.
