US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: US Treasuries are little changed having traded in a relatively
tight trading range in Asia and Europe so far Tuesday with traders seen waiting
on key announcement from US President on the Iran nuclear deal later.
- US 10-yr yield is 2.9498% unchanged from US close Monday while curve is ever
so slightly flatter with 2s/30s 0.4bp tighter at 61.7bps.
- T-Notes operated in a 2 tick range during Asia hours, with little in the way
of major news flow, and only broke out of that range by a further 2 ticks once
Europe got under way.
- US Fed Chair Powell gave very little away on Fed policy in his speech in
Zurich, saying that markets "should not be surprised" by its actions of a
gradual rise in interest rates as they are "reasonably well aligned with
policymakers' expectations".
- Front-end of the Eurodollar strip has come under light selling pressure with
white, red and Green contracts steady to 1 tick lower. While blues are 0.5 tick
