EUROZONE T-BILL ISSUANCE

Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Belgium, the ESM, Greece and Italy all look to sell bills next week. We look for issuance at first round operations of E29.4bln, up from E16.6bln this week.

  • Germany will look to kick off bill issuance for the week on Monday morning with E2bln of the 3-month Jun 21, 2023 bubill and E3bln of the 9-month Dec 13, 2023 bubill on offer.
  • Also on Monday morning, the Netherlands will look to sell E1-2bln of each of the 3-month May 30, 2023 DTC and the new 6-month Aug 30, 2023 DTC.
  • On Monday afternoon, France will look to sell up to E6.2bln of 13/20/38/50-week BTFs: E2.2-2.6bln of the new 13-week Jun 3, 2023 BTF, E1.0-1.4bln of the 20-week Jul 26, 2023 BTF, E0-0.4bln of the 38-week Nov 29, 2023 BTF and E1.4-1.8bln of the 50-week Feb 21, 2024 BTF.
  • On Tuesday, Spain will look to sell 6-month Sep 8, 2023 letras alongside new 12-month Mar 8, 2024 letras. The auction size will be announced on Monday.
  • Later on Tuesday, Belgium will look to sell E2.6-3.0bln of 4/12-month TCs: an indicative E800mln of the Jul 13, 2022 TC and an indicative E2.0bln of the new Mar 7, 2024 TC.
  • Finally on Tuesday, the ESM will look to sell up to E1.1bln of new 3-month Jun 8, 2023 bills.
  • On Wednesday, Greece will come to the market to sell E625mln of the new 52-week Mar 8, 2024 GTB.
  • Italy will conclude Eurozone bill issuance on Friday with a new 12-month BOT on offer. The auction size will be announced on Tuesday and we pencil in E6bln.
