UK: Westminster schedule for today:

- 1030GMT (1130CET, 0630ET) : Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Minister

for Cabinet Office Michael Gove appears in front of the Brexit select committee

to be grilled on progress of FTA talks so far. On a normal day this would gain

notable attention due to the seemingly vast gulf between UK gov't and Brussels

on what future relationship looks like.

- 1200GMT (1300CET,0800ET): PMQs. Pre-Budget prime minister's questions are

usually a fairly tepid affair, with MPs' focus largely on the main event that

comes afterwards.

- 1230GMT (1300CET, 0830ET): Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak delivers

the Budget. Expectations are for the gov't to engage in a 'sizeable package' of

spending, with the FT calling it "the largest rise in public borrowing in 30

years". 

- 1500GMT (1600GMT, 1100ET): Office of Budgetary Responsibility Chief Robert

Chote delivers press conference at the Institute for Government on OBR's

forecasts.
