ENERGY
  • The latest weekly API oil inventory data is due for release today at 16:30 EST ahead of the EIA data tomorrow. US inventory data is currently expected to show a small build in crude stocks, draws in both gasoline and distillates and another drop in refinery utilisation.
  • The EU are due to set out their legislative proposals for new measures to ease energy market volatility later today. The EU is discussing plans such as joint gas purchases, further demand reduction measures, a dynamic price limit for TTF transactions and a new temporary LNG linked index.
