What to Watch

ENERGY
  • No significant data releases are expected today as the oil market is looking for a clear direction and waits for further indications on the future US Fed rate policy and the energy demand recovery in China. The first batch of China trade data for February is due tomorrow.
  • Tomorrow the updated EIA Short Term Energy Outlook report will be released with updates to supply and demand forecasts for 2023 for oil, gas, and power markets. The OPEC and IEA monthly reports are then due for release next week.
