OIL
OIL: WTI and Brent have edged higher in Asia-Pacific hours, with both trading
around $0.40 above their respective settlement levels at writing.
- This comes after the major crude benchmarks ticked higher on Thursday,
benefitting from the bid in U.S. equities and ongoing tension in the Middle
East.
- The weekly Baker Hughes rig count will hit later today, but this weekend's
OPEC+ summit in Jeddah will likely drive activity early next week.
