AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD last NZ$1.0510, a touch lower on the day, after NZD drew
some modest strength from S&P affirming New Zealand at AA & lifting its outlook
to positive from stable. Muted reaction noted upon the release of official
Chinese PMI figures.
- Initial support is located at the psychological NZ$1.0500 level, briefly
breached overnight, ahead of NZ$1.0467, where the rate bottomed yesterday.
Meanwhile, yesterday's peak at NZ$1.0536 provides the initial layer of
resistance, and a break above would draw bullish attention to the 50-DMA/21-DMA
at NZ$1.0545/52.
