Citi: Long USD Positioning Builds But HFs Pull Back

Citi's latest flows & positioning report notes that "USD long positioning increased over the past week, driven by heavy real money buying. However, this was in contrast to leveraged investors, who saw a reduction in longs in-line with the recent dollar weakness. While Citi flow and futures data suggest significant long exposure for real money, hedge fund positioning is mixed."
