Contained Moves Still Observed

Not much to really offer colour wise, with Broader core global FI markets off cheapest levels of the day. Weaker oil prices and negative sentiment surrounding Chinese & HK equities will have provided support at various stages, although the moves don’t necessarily line up with the the rallies in bonds.

  • U.S. Tsys yields are little changed to 1bp lower, with the space off best levels.
  • EGBs and gilts are generally softer on the day, after adjusting to the late pullback in Tsys seen on Friday.
