Dep PM: 'No Question Of Surrendering Mariupol'

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk has been quoted by the Ukrainska Pravda news site as stating that “there can be no question of surrendering [Mariupol] and laying down weapons”.

• Russian offer had been to allow 300k encircled Ukrainians safe passage out of the city if Mariupol's defender surredered to Russian forces by 0500 local time.
• President Zelensky's spox confirmed that, "Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to achieve a ceasefire will continue online today,". No timings on these talks as of yet.
• Reports of Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu stating that Russia and Ukraine have made progress in talks towards a ceasefire. Cavusoglu stated to Hurriyet that “If the parties do not step back from their current positions, we can say that we are hopeful for a ceasefire.”
