EUROZONE ISSUANCE

Italy will hold an exchange auction today while Slovakia, Germany, Finland, Spain and France have already held auctions this week and Greece held a syndication on Tuesday. We look for gross nominal issuance at first round operations of E32.6bln (including the exchange) for these deals, down from E51.5bln last week.

  • Italy will conclude Eurozone issuance for the week on Friday by holding an exchange auction. On offer will be up to E2.5bln of the 5.75% Mar-33 BTP (ISIN: IT0003256820). It will look to buyback the 0.95% Mar-23 BTP (ISIN: IT0005172322), the 4.50% May-23 BTP (ISIN: IT0004898034), the 4.75% Aug-23 BTP (ISIN: IT0004356843), the 0.30% Aug-23 BTP (ISIN: IT0005413684) and the 0.65% Oct-23 BTP (ISIN: IT0005215246).
