ECB VIEW
ECB VIEW: Expectations are for the ECB stand pat on policy today. The MNI policy
team ECB coverage heading into today's meeting included:
-MNI sources on 19/4 outlined the likely timetable for the ECB to move slowly
towards monetary policy normalisation with nothing substantive before June.
-Another MNI source on 20/4 disclosed that the ECB Governing Council had not
begun to discuss the time lag between the asset purchase programme ending and
rates starting to go up, and won't do so materially until APP comes to a close.
