Exports Via Black Sea Grain Corridor Continue To Increase

The first grain shipment from Ukraine, since the war began, has been sold in Turkey, after it was initially refused by a buyer in Lebanon.

  • According to Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, the second commercial ship to arrive in Ukraine has docked in the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk, near Odessa.
  • A short time ago, the Ukrainian ministry of Agriculture reported that Ukrainian grain, oilseed, and vegetable oil exports rose 22.7 percent in July to 2.66 million tonnes, thanks to higher wheat and barley shipments.
  • According to Reuters, a senior UN official expects to see a, "big uptick in applications," for ships looking to export grain as the security of the grain corridor increases.
