Finland To Add LNG Reloading Service At Inkoo To Improve Utilisation Rate

Finland seeks to add services for re-exporting LNG at its Inkoo import terminal amid low utilisation rates, Gasgrid said.

  • “It has become clear that offering a reloading service would significantly improve the utilization rate of the LNG terminal ship, thereby increasing its financial operating conditions,” the network operator said.
  • Earlier this month, Finland reduced its planned LNG import slots for the summer due to pipeline capacity constraints and expected market demand. The number of planned slots at Inkoo was reduced to 10 from 14 originally planned.
