India To Double Trade Partnership With UAE

India and the United Arab Emirates have signed a major trade and investment deal that will double bilateral trade by 2027.

  • The deal confirms the Gulf nation as India’s third-largest trading partner and comes after a virtual summit today between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
  • The deal will increase bilateral trade in goods to over USD$100 billion and boost trade in services to over USD$15 billion.
