Kazakhstan Discusses Trade Route Development With EU's Borrell

The European Union could participate in developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) according to Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi when he met with the EU’s Josep Borrell today.

  • "Given the current global political situation, we stressed the importance of further development of international transport routes in order to support the operation of the global supply chain. In particular, we discussed the possibility of supporting development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route by the European Union," Tileuberdi said.
  • The sides also focused on measures to prevent any adverse impact of the European Union sanctions on Kazakhstan's economy he said.
