Kazakhstan's Oil Output Surges in November

Kazakh crude and condensate production in November rose to its highest since February 2020 and brings supply back to levels agreed under the OPEC+ deal.

  • Total output of crude and condensate for November soared to 7.77m tons or 1.89mn bpd, up by 348k b/d from 1.54m b/d in October according to Bloomberg calculations.
  • Production at Kashagan was restored to near capacity in the first week of the month.
  • A second mooring at the CPC export terminal also became operational mid-November.
