Kazakhstan Still Targeting 20kt of Crude to Germany a Month
OIL
Kazakhstan plans to send another 20,000 tonnes of oil to Germany in April via the Druzhba pipeline– with overall exports from the trade expected to reach 300,000 tonnes in 2023 according to Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov.
- "We will send the second half [20,000 tonnes of oil] in March. The first batch of oil [by the end of 2023] will be 300,000 tonnes if 20,000 tonnes are shipped per month," Akchulakov told reporters.
- Kazakhstan may annually export up to 1.2 million tonnes of oil to Germany, he said but further agreements are required for that.
