EUR/CZK has inched higher and last deals +0.016 at 24.508, with the koruna lagging both its CE3 peers (PLN/CZK +0.6%, CZK/HUF -0.1%). The initial layer of resistance is provided by Oct 26, 2023/Jul 7, 2022 highs of 24.747/24.797. On the flip side, bears keep an eye on Nov 3 low of 24.365, followed by the 24.3 support area.

  • CZGB curve runs slightly flatter, with the short end underperforming. The Finance Ministry will release its bond issuance schedule for December at 13:00GMT/14:00CET.
  • There has been little in the way of market-moving headlines coming out of Czechia over the long weekend. The local data docket is empty until the release of economic sentiment measures on Friday.
