Kremlin-Putin Talks w/Saudi Crown Prince On OPEC+

RUSSIA

Russian state-run TASS relaying Kremlin reports that President Vladimir Putin has held a call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman to discuss OPEC+. The two are said to have 'discussed cooperation within the OPEC+ group to maintain price stability' as well as the 'expansion of energy and trade cooperation' between the two countries.

  • Comes as reports state comments from two unnamed OPEC+ delegates stating that JMMC panel is unlikely to recommend changes to OPEC+ oil policy on Feb 1.
