LDP To Admit Allied Independent MP Hosono

JAPAN

Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party will allow Goshi Hosono to formally join its ranks, the Yomiuri Shimbun reports. Hosono ran as an independent candidate and defeated the LDP's Takeru Yoshikawa in the single-seat district Shizuoka-5.
