LNG Cargo Turns Away From Fos Terminal Amid Strike

The Castillo de Santisteban has been diverting away from the Fos terminal in southern France to delivery to the Isle of Grain in the UK instead, likely because industrial action is limiting sendout from the Fos terminal according to ICIS LNG Edge.

  • The vessel is carrying a Nigerian cargo for Shell.
  • Sendout reductions at France’s Fos Cavaou and Fos Tonkin LNG terminals will be extended until 16 February due to strike action according to Elengy.
  • At the smaller Fos Tonkin terminal no sendout has been nominated between 10-16 February, while sendout at the Fos Cavou terminal drops to zero for Feb 14-15, Elengy data shows.
