MNI BRIEF: Japan 10-Yr Yield Exceeds Target For Third Day

The yield on the 10-year Japanese government bond briefly rose to 0.505% on Tuesday, breaching the upper limit of the BOJ's target range for a third consecutive days amid speculation over policy adjustments.

The 10-year bonds traded at 0.500% as of 1100 JST. The BOJ announced it would buy JGBs with a remaining life of 5 to 10-years at a fixed-rate of 0.50% without limits.
