OIL
Norway's crude oil and gas output fell in November from the previous month, lagging official forecasts, preliminary data from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) showed.
- Crude oil output fell to 1.74mbpd in November, 8.7% below the forecast and down from 1.75mbpd in October. November oil output also lagged last year’s levels for the same month of 1.82mbpd
- Natural gas production in November averaged 346.4mcm per day, 1.8% below the forecast and down from 349.4mcm per day in October. Levels were almost in line with last year’s levels for the same time at 346.33mcm per day.
