Norwegian Production Above Forecasts in April

Norway’s April oil and gas output was above the official forecast according to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate (NOD) on Wednesday.

  • Crude production rose to 1.85 mn bpd in April from 1.84 mn bpd in March. It was forecast at 1.76 million bpd by the NOD.
  • Natural gas production fell to 346.6 million cubic metres (mcm) per day in April from 366 mcm a month ago, but exceeded a forecast of 323.9 mcm by 7%.
